eB for Nuclear captures, stores
and manages content and documents such as specifications, engineering
drawings, operating procedures, reports, emails, purchase orders,
invoices, etc., and identifies and relates this content to the
physical items such as the equipment, systems, structures and
components that comprise the plant. eB for Nuclear also creates
printed work packages for use
during emergencies and outages.

“We selected eB because of its
extensive out-of-the-box functionality and flexible
application programming interface. The team also
demonstrated its experience in the nuclear environment
and knowledge of managing nuclear-related information.”

“eB is the only application available
today that fully meets the requirements of ANSI/NIRMA
CM 1.0 and allows nuclear organizations to easily
conform to the processes recommended by INPO AP-929
and NEI AP-907. It’s greatest strength, in my opinion,
is its ability to identify all other required changes
when a single change is initiated.”

Streamlining
the license renewal process to ensure compliance with 10
CFR Part 54 (Safety) and 10 CFR Part 51 (Environmental) |
| |
 |
Managing and
controlling all facility information (documents, drawings,
data, records, etc) throughout their life cycles |
| |
 |
Providing rapid
access to relevant information by authorized users anytime,

Maintaining
100% integrity of information by means of a proven and automated
change process |
Most nuclear plants have implemented some
form of document/content/records management system as well as maintenance/materials
management and/or EAM/ERP systems. These systems are providing significant
operational benefits, but still result in islands of information
regarding plant information and the subsequent problem and cost
of managing change and ensuring regulatory compliance.
Performance Improvement
eB Corrective Action (CA)
is a powerful Web-based corrective action management application
built on the eB enterprise information management platform. It automates
and streamlines the effective management of all non-conformances
and incidents, including condition reports, observations, customer
complaints, defects, and audit findings.
A closed loop process assures that all failures
and non-conformances are reported and analyzed, and that the appropriate
corrective actions are identified, documented, and implemented.
This process rectifies non-conformances immediately and prevents
recurrences.
Enterprise Informatics' eB Nuclear Solutions
are aimed at assisting nuclear plant operators to solve this complex
business problem. eB Nuclear enables operators to managing all the
information regarding your plant throughout its life cycle more
effectively but also implement the recommendations contained in
the ANSI/NIRMA CM1.0- 2000 Guidelines for Configuration Management
of Nuclear Facilities.
In addition, we also provide a framework for operators
to streamline your license renewal programs and demonstrate compliance
with 10 CFR Part 54 and 10 CFR Part 51.
Most
of the best known software tools have been assessed relative to
their ability to support the CMII methodology developed by
the CMII Research Institute. Of those assessed, less than
half were able to meet the minimum requirements. eB from Enterprise
Informatics is certified as one of the few tools most capable
of supporting CMII.
